1 Line will be experiencing a disruption from Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, June 23 due to planned maintenance activity.
In effect: May 12 - June 24
Routes: 1 Line
During this period there will be no service between Angle Lake and SeaTac/Airport Stations. These closures will be :
- Sunday, May 12 from start of service until 12 p.m.
- Saturday, June 1, from start of service through Sunday, June 2 until 10 a.m.
- Saturday, June 22 from start of service through end of service
During full Link closures between Angle Lake and Seatac/Airport Stations, Sound Transit will not operate a traditional “Link bus shuttle”. Instead Sound Transit will direct passengers to KCM RapidRide A Line. Link passengers who must transfer to the A Line will not need to pay fare during full closures of Link between Angle Lake and Seatac/Airport Stations.
Passenger must take the A line to travel to between Angle Lake and Seatac/Airport Stations and then transfer to the 1 Line to continue northbound.

New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at University Washington Station beginning on Monday, April 8.
In effect: April 8 - June 7
Routes: 1 Line
New signs will help better communicate service information to passengers. Information displayed on signs at the stations may not be viewable during installation and testing.
There should be minimal impact on how a passenger navigates through the station platform and entry to the station.
University Washington Station scheduled installation: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., 4/8 until 6/14.

Late night rider information from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Northgate Station.
In effect: March 30 - Aug. 31
Routes: 1 Line
For service to Northgate via downtown Seattle, from Seattle -Tacoma International Airport:
On weekdays and Saturday, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:58 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
On Sunday’s, the last train to Northgate Station with service through downtown Seattle departs SeaTac/Airport Station at about 11:13 p.m. All remaining trains will terminate at Beacon Hill Station.
Passengers are recommended to exit at Mount Baker Station and use the following King County Metro Routes to travel towards Northgate Station:
• Passengers requiring service to downtown Seattle, please take King County Metro Route 7.
• Passengers requiring service to Capitol Hill Station, please take King County Metro Route 7 to 3rd Avenue and Pike Street, then transfer to King County Metro Route 49 at Pike Street and 4th Avenue.
• Passengers requiring service to University of Washington and U District stations, please use King County Metro Route 48.
• Passengers requiring service to Roosevelt and Northgate stations, please use King County Metro Route 48 and transfer to King County Metro Route 67.
