King Street Station

Description

Sound Transit added a commuter rail passenger station located immediately east of the historic King Street Station building. The station serves as Sounder's major Downtown Seattle terminal and is part of a larger complex and physcial plant serving Amtrak and Burling Northern Santa Fe Railway freight trains.

Important tips for riders:

The platform can be accessed from the Weller Street Bridge at Fourth Avenue and from South Jackson Street between Second and Fourth avenues
Do not attempt to reach the Sounder platform through the historic train station building
We encourage you to take transit, walk, bike, car pool or be dropped off at the station
