King Street Station

Description

Sound Transit added a commuter rail passenger station located immediately east of the historic King Street Station building.  The station serves as Sounder's major Downtown Seattle terminal and is part of a larger complex and physcial plant serving Amtrak and Burling Northern Santa Fe Railway freight trains.

Important tips for riders:

  • The platform can be accessed from the Weller Street Bridge at Fourth Avenue and from South Jackson Street between Second and Fourth avenues
  • Do not attempt to reach the Sounder platform through the historic train station building
  • We encourage you to take transit, walk, bike, car pool or be dropped off at the station
  • More rider information for this facility>>>
