Lynnwood/SR 99 Transit LanesDescription
The SR-99 Transit Lanes Project widened SR-99 from five to seven lanes by converting the existing parking lanes to Transit Emphasis Lanes. These Transit Emphasis Lanes include new paving, storm water controls, new/upgraded signals, transit signal priority equipment, new signage, bus zones, bus shelters, and a added curb, which includes gutters and sidewalks.
The overall project was divided into three phases.
