Sumner Station

Description

Sumner Station is located in downtown Sumner on Maple Street between Narrow and Traffic streets. The station includes 286 parking spaces with 41 overflow spaces in the lot at State Street and Hunt Avenue.

Sumner Station is served by Sounder commuter trains, ST Express routes 564 and 582 and Pierce Transit routes 406, 407 and 409.

The station’s public art, "Shadow Caster" by Ellen Sollod, includes trellis-like structures located on each side of the platform to greet commuters entering from the north. In addition, an artist-designed, cast iron tree grate of stylized hops blossoms is used throughout the station.
