Rainier ValleyThe Rainier Valley is predominantly a residential part of Seattle, with multiple commercial districts. It currently contains some of the highest per capita transit ridership in the region. The Rainier Valley neighborhoods that will benefit from light rail include Beacon Hill, Mount Baker, Rainier Vista, Columbia City, Brighton, New Holly Park, Dunlap and Rainier Beach. Starting at South McClellan Street, light rail will travel on elevated tracks to South Walden Street and then at street level in the center of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South to the Boeing Access Road.
