Northline Sounder service cancellation -- Mudslide
Rider Alerts for planned construction and event related
revisions to Sound Transit service are posted. Unexpected or
last-minute changes to service may not be available. Please
call Sound Transit Rider Information at 1-888-889-6368 or
1-888-713-6030 TTY for additional information. Both the Web
site and phone recording will be updated as necessary as
information is available.

Northline Sounder and Amtrak RailPlus service between Seattle and Everett will not be available on the following days due a mudslide south of Edmonds:
- Wednesday, Jan 20, for the entire day
- Thursday, Jan 21 for the morning commute only*
EVENING BACK-UP BUS SERVICE on WEDNESDAY 1/20 (northbound):
Seattle - Edmonds: Board Community Transit Route 404 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to the Edmonds Station. Extra Route 404 buses will be provided at approximately 4:33 p.m. and 5:05 p.m. to reduce overcrowding.
Seattle - Mukilteo: Board Community Transit Route 417 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to the Mukilteo Station. Please note: There will be no charter buses or extra Route 417 buses to supplement service.
Seattle - Everett: Three charter buses will depart 4th Ave S and S Jackson St at approximately 4:05 p.m., 4:33 p.m., and 5:05 p.m. for direct service to Everett. Passengers of the cancelled 5:35 p.m. Sounder departure from Seattle should board ST Express Route 510 at 4th Ave S and S Jackson St for service to Everett or take one of the earlier charters.
*Depending upon weather conditions and the severity of the mudslide, northline Sounder and RailPlus service may not be available for the afternoon commute on Thursday, Jan 21. Please monitor www.soundtransit.org for updates before beginning your commute. |
