Event Service and Promotions

In addition to our regular schedules, Sound Transit offers buses and trains for travelers with special destinations. Try our fast and reliable service to places such as the airport, late-night concert venues or sports stadiums in Seattle. Sound Transit is always working to form partnerships with sports teams and private corporations like Amtrak to offer riders new destinations and a more convenient trip.

Take Sounder's Home Run Service to Safeco Field
Ride Sounder commuter rail to King Street Station, a short walk from Safeco Field. Sounder Home Run Service goes to all weekend games starting around 1 p.m. The train arrives in downtown Seattle approximately one hour before the first pitch and departs King Street Station 35 minutes after the game ends.

 

Run to the Races, Sound Transit Service to Emerald Downs 2008
Sound Transit and Emerald Downs Race Track have teamed up to get to the race track. Buses and trains can take you Auburn Station where you can catch the free shuttle to the race track.

Ride for the Cure: Sounder Train June 21, 2008
Sound Transit's Sounder train will run on Saturday, June 21 to take riders from Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent, Tukwila, Everett, Mukilteo and Edmonds to the Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure® starting point at Qwest Field.
