Central Link light rail's first riders board the inaugural train

Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, and Tukwila Mayor Jim Haggerton boarded Link light rail from their respective cities and “met in the middle” at Mt. Baker Station for the Central Link light rail ribbon cutting. Afterward, the mayors accompanied by Inaugural Ride ticket holders, the media and other dignitaries boarded the first trains, launching Central Link light rail service to the region.
