What comes next?
After the comment period closes on Nov. 6, 2023, the collected comments will be evaluated. The Sound Transit Board will review a summary of the comments, which will be available on the project website. The Final EIS, which will include responses to substantive Draft EIS comments and evaluation of the preferred and other alternatives, is expected to be issued in mid-2024. After that, the Board will select a project to build in mid to late 2024.
