Lynnwood Link Extension Mountlake Terrace Station

Nighttime work along I-5 northbound and southbound lanes

As early as Friday, May 8, Sound Transit's contractor will begin truck hauling and heavy equipment work close to the Mountlake Terrace (MLT) Transit Center. This is to prepare for the Lynnwood Link Light Rail extension. This work will be in effect for four weeks. The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete this work.

  • Friday, May 8 – Friday, June 5, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. Monday – Friday.
  • Saturday, May 9 – Sunday, May 10 and Saturday, May 16 – Sunday, May 17, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Northeast 205th Street to 228th Street Southwest along northbound I-5 and 212th Street Southwest to 236th Street Southwest along Southbound I-5 (see map).
