Exciting news for Redmond! A new public artwork by artist Yegizaw Michael (Yeggy) titled “Point of Connection” has been installed at Marymoor Village Station! This vibrant piece blends Redmond’s past, present, and future, symbolizing the city’s evolution from a trade hub to a center of innovation. The artwork features powerful symbols like the Sankofa bird, Afro comb, and mandala, representing community, unity, and resilience. Though the station won't open until 2025, “Point of Connection” already sets the stage for a space that celebrates connection and growth.
