Just like the never-ending list of Washingtonian music talent, we’re keeping it going with part two of a few of our favorite record stores near 1 line stations. 

Sit back, relax, turn on some tunes (if multitasking’s your thing), and enjoy the next installment of Spin Zone. 

Westlake

Holy cow, a record store in Pike Place Market?! That’s right, this aptly named used record store features some classic and rare vinyl's in one of Seattle’s most iconic locations. Walk 0.2 miles away from Westlake station and take the plunge into this rabbit hole of a collection.

Sub Pop Records on 7th 

Sub Pop and grunge, like a cup of coffee and Seattle. This iconic record label known for signing bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney most definitely features their albums and a selection of other records at their store on 7th. 0.4 miles from the station, check out Sub Pop and maybe even bring home a slice of music history. 

Singles Going Steady

Funky vibes and a huge selection of records have us sold on Singles Going Steady. 0.4 miles from the station is quite the unique record store sure to bring a smile to your face and maybe a few additions to your vinyl collection.  

SODO

Silver Platters SoDo

Oh, so you want a record store? How about a record warehouse? This Costco adjacent heaven of record stores is 0.7 miles from the SODO station and well worth the jaunt. Search through new and used vinyl, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, their staff is sure to help you out. 

Columbia City

Empire Roasters & Records

We just can’t get enough of this coffee and vinyl combo. This small but mighty shop 0.4 miles from the Columbia City station makes you want to stick around all day, so grab a specialty coffee and browse their selection of records as one spins in the background.
