Sound Transit services are running for those who depend on transit for essential trips.
You can help protect our drivers, your neighbors and yourself. Please:
- Stay in place
- Maintain your space
- Cover your face
We want to help everyone who has to be out in public, including transit operators, security officers and essential workers, stay safe.

See something, say something
Our security hotline is available 24/7. Please call or text 206-398-5268 if you see anything amiss in buses, trains or stations.
Do not hesitate to report unsanitary conditions, vandalism or anything else that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable. We’re here for you, so you can be there for others.
By working together, we can help keep our frontline heroes as safe as possible.
Follow public health guidelines
The CDC is now recommending that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings.

If you must travel, please stay at least six feet away from others. New Sound Transit policies will assist people in maintaining their distance, including boarding at the rear of buses.
It’s also critical that we all wash our hands frequently and thoroughly, including before and after riding.
Thanks to everyone doing their part to flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19.
Let’s all follow the latest advice and continue to stand together while staying apart.
