Planned service disruptions

Expanding transit throughout the region involves more than building the projects. We have to ensure our existing operations are in good shape as we prepare to expand our transit system.  

Over time, the vehicles, tracks, and facilities will need maintenance to remain reliable. Passengers should plan for periods of less frequent Link service, and when needed, replacement bus service. 

7/26:

On 7/26 until end of service, 2 Line service will be suspended between International District/Chinatown Station and South Bellevue Station for maintenance. 2 Line trains will also not operate between International District/Chinatown Station and Lynnwood City Center Station. Passengers can take frequent 1 Line service to complete this part of their journey.

  • 2 Line service will operate between Downtown Redmond Station and South Bellevue Station.

  • 2 Line shuttle buses will operate between South Bellevue Station and International District/Chinatown Station.   

  • 2 Line trains will not operate between International District/Chinatown and Lynnwood City Center Stations. 

    • 1 Line trains will have increased service to accommodate passengers traveling between International District/Chinatown Station and Lynnwood City Center Station. 

7/28-7/30:

From 7/28-7/30, from approximately 11 p.m. until end of service, 2 Line service will be suspended between South Bellevue Station and International District/Chinatown Station for maintenance. 

  • 2 Line service will operate between Downtown Redmond Station and South Bellevue Station.

  • 2 Line shuttle buses will operate between South Bellevue Station and International District/Chinatown Station.   

    • Passengers can transfer to 1 Line trains at International District/Chinatown Station.

8/4-8/6:

From 8/4-8/6, from approximately 11 p.m. until end of service, 2 Line service will be suspended between Downtown Redmond Station and BelRed Station.

  • 2 Line shuttle buses will be suspended between Downtown Redmond Station and BelRed Station.

  • 2 Line service will operate as scheduled between BelRed Station and Lynnwood City Center Station. 

There are no planned service disruptions for the T Line at this time.

There are no planned service disruptions for Sounder at this time.

There are no planned disruptions for ST Express routes at this time.
