Planned service disruptions

Expanding transit throughout the region involves more than building the projects. We have to ensure our existing operations are in good shape as we prepare to expand our transit system.  

Over time, the vehicles, tracks, and facilities will need maintenance to remain reliable. Passengers should plan for periods of less frequent Link service, and when needed, replacement bus service. 

9/1-9/3 and 9/10:

From 9/1-9/3 and 9/10, from approximately 10:30 p.m. until end of service, 2 Line service will be suspended between South Bellevue Station and Overlake Village Station. 

  • 2 Line trains will operate as scheduled between Lynnwood City Center Station and South Bellevue Station.

  • 2 Line shuttle buses will operate between South Bellevue Station and Overlake Village Station.

  • 2 Line trains will operate as scheduled between Overlake Village Station and Downtown Redmond Station.

9/15-9/17:

From approximately 10:30 p.m. until end of service, 1 Line trains will be suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations, and 2 Line trains will be suspended between Capitol Hill and Judkins Park stations. 

  • 1 Line service will operate between Lynnwood City Center Station and Capitol Hill Station. 

  • Shuttle buses will operate between Capitol Hill Station and SODO station to provide alternate 1 Line service. 

  • 1 Line service will operate between SODO and Federal Way Downtown Station. 

  • 2 Line service will operate between Downtown Redmond Station and Judkins Park Station. 

  • Shuttle buses will operate between Judkins Park Station and Capitol Hill Station to provide alternate 2 Line service. 

  • Passengers can transfer to 1 Line trains at Capitol Hill station if wanting to travel towards Lynnwood City Center Station.

There are no planned service disruptions for the T Line at this time.

There are no planned service disruptions for Sounder at this time.

There are no planned disruptions for ST Express routes at this time.
