Public Hearing on Proposed Policy Change - Free Youth Fares
The purpose of this hearing is to advise the public and receive public comment on the Sound Transit Board’s intent to consider an action that makes fares free for passengers 18 and under on all Sound Transit modes, with the goal to implement this change by September 1st, 2022, before the start of the school year.

How to provide comments at the public hearing
Comments can be given either in person at Union Station, located at 401 South Jackson Street, or virtually through WebEx.
If you wish to comment in person, you must sign-up ahead of time on a sign-up sheet outside of the Board room.
If you wish to comment virtually, you will need to sign-up ahead of time through the Board’s comment form linked below.
The sign-up window will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, June 16. Sign up requires your name and email address. Commenters will be called on by name in the order they signed up.

Attending the public hearing in person
The public hearing will be open to the public in the Ruth Fisher Board Room in Union Station located at 401 S Jackson Street. Doors will be unlocked 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
