Closure on I-5 for Federal Way Link construction
Closure will be along southbound I-5 in Kent

Crews working on the Federal Way Link Extension will be closing southbound HOV lane on I-5 from Kent/Des Moines Road to South 272nd Street for geotechnical exploration as part of light rail construction. The night time closures will take place May 17-20 from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m.
All project construction work is done under stringent COVID-19 health and safety guidelines.
