Link light rail service will be temporarily suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations June 22 and June 23
Link Shuttle buses will operate to transport riders between stations
Due to planned rail maintenance, Link light rail will be temporarily suspended between Capitol Hill and SODO stations from the start of service Saturday, June 22 through the end of service Sunday, June 23. Normal operations will resume at the start of service Monday, June 24.
During this time, Sound Transit will provide Link Shuttle buses to transport passengers. The buses will run every 15 minutes and stop at all stations between Capitol Hill and SODO. Passengers should plan ahead and allow for extra time for transfers between buses and trains.
There will also be no Link service between SeaTac/Airport and Angle Lake stations on June 22 from the start of service until the end of service. Passengers will need to board the Rapid Ride A Line at no charge, one block from Angle Lake Station on International Boulevard to continue their journey. This closure will conclude the systems work in support of Federal Way Link Extension.
During this disruption, passengers traveling through the area should allow for additional time for their trip. Information about alternative routes that passengers may want to consider is available on our website.
A language line is available to provide translation assistance for limited English proficiency persons at 800-823-9230.
Sound Transit remains committed to working closely with its partners to continue serving the public. Efforts will continue to prioritize serving riders who depend on Sound Transit’s services, including seniors, people with disabilities, Title VI protected populations (race, color, national origin), low-income and limited-English-proficiency populations.
