220th Street SW right turn lane closure and pedestrian detour

As early as Monday, October 12, Sound Transit's contractor will begin work to install a temporary traffic signal. The work area is located along the curb near the sidewalk on the north side of 220th Street SW. The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete the work. 

What

Preparatory work for a temporary traffic signal. Work will include potholing, trenching, boring, electrical work, saw-cutting, earthwork, and trucking.

When

Monday, October 12 – Wednesday, October 14, 9:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.

Where

220th Street SW right turn lane onto I-5 northbound (see map). Access to I-5 NB will remain open.
Northeast sidewalk along 220th St SW (see map).
