On Monday, August 17th, Sound Transit will be closing one lane on NE 174th street to 2nd Ave NE. The closure will be utilized for underground utility work. This closure will take place between the work hours of 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
What
- Crews will close one lane at NE 174th Street to 2nd Ave NE to work on underground utility installation.
- Local access to driveways will be maintained at all time.
- Flaggers will be on-site during work hours to assist drivers to and from their driveway.
- Work consists of heavy equipment which residents should expect construction noises.
- Crews will cover shafts with non-skid plates and provide warning signage during construction off hours.

- Work will occur Monday, August 17th for a duration of two weeks.
- Lane will be closed during the work hours from 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
