Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station to close for construction

Publish Date

As a part of ongoing Lynnwood Link Extension construction, the freeway station located at the Mountlake Terrace (MLT) Transit Center serving Community Transit Routes 410, 413, 415, 435 and Sound Transit Routes 511, 512 and 513 will close starting July 6 for approximately 4 ½ months. While the freeway station is closed, commuters can continue to use the transit center parking garage and a free, temporary shuttle service will be provided to downtown Seattle. The new route will operate as ST Express Route 508 – MLT Shuttle. The shuttle can be boarded at Bay #3 on 236th Street SW (see photo).

There will be no changes to other bus routes using bays 1-4. The temporary shuttle schedule will be posted on line at www.communitytransit.org and www.soundtransit.org/system-expansion/mountlake-terrace-station. Thank you for your patience as we work to bring high-capacity light rail service to Snohomish County, providing a traffic free link from Lynnwood to downtown Seattle in 27 minutes.
