NE 175th off-ramp closure at Northbound I-5 and reduce lanes

As early as Thursday, September 4th, Sound Transit will be closing the NE 175th off-ramp for Northbound I-5 and reducing lanes at NE 175th Street. This closure will be utilized for signal work. This closure will take place between the work hours of 11:00PM to 5:00AM.

What

  • Drivers can expect delays due to the lane reduction at NE 175th Street and I-5 on-ramp. 
  • The off-ramp from Northbound I-5 at NE 175th Street will be closed. Detour route will be at exit 177.
  • Drivers will be able to access I-5 on-ramp or continue westbound.
  • Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
  • Work requires heavy equipment which will create typical construction noise. 
  • Closure will occur during work hours and re-open during non-work hours.

When

  • Work will occur Thursday, September 4th only. 
  • Closure will occur during the work hours from 11:00PM to 5:00AM.
  • Roads will remain open outside of work hours.

Where

  • NE 175th Street off-ramp from Northbound I-5 on-ramp (exit 176).
