NE 195th Street pedestrian bridge underground utility installation

As early as Monday, Aug. 24th Sound Transit will begin underground utility installation work at the Northeast 195th pedestrian bridge for light rail construction.

What

  • Sound Transit will be installing underground utilities on the east side of the Northeast 195th pedestrian bridge.
  • Bridge access will remain open during construction.
  • Pedestrians and bicyclists should be cautious when navigating past nearby construction.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained.
  • Work involves heavy equipment and typical noise and vibration from construction.

When

  • As early as Monday, Aug. 24, 2020 through October 2020.
  • Work hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where

  • Construction is on the east side of the Northeast 195th pedestrian bridge.
  • Northeast 195th pedestrian bridge will be open on both sides.
