Removal of the Tunnel Boring Machine

Sound Transit's contractor, JCM, will move large sections of a tunnel boring machine from the University of Washington Station site.

The trucking activities will occur at night between 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17th and Sunday, Dec. 18th.

What to expect during this work:

  • Construction vehicle noise along the haul route
  • Travel delays and parking restrictions along route
  • Possible back-up alarms on the trucks
  • Flashing lights
