Lynnwood Link Extension Shoreline South/148th Station

Right lane closure and off-ramp closure at northbound I-5 NE 145th Street, exit 175

As early as Monday, Feb. 1st, Sound Transit will be closing two right lanes on Interstate 5 north from Northeast 128th to Northeast 145th. Additionally, the off-ramp from northbound I-5 via exit 175 for work zone for girder setting. This closure is a necessary step for construction of the Lynnwood Link light rail.

What

  • Suggested detour route is exiting at northbound I-5 exit 176. 
  • Neighbors should expect construction noises. 

When

  • Monday night, Feb. 1st to Thursday Feb. 4th.
  • The off-ramp closes 11 p.m. and re-opens at 5 a.m.    

Where

  • East of the northbound I-5 to Northeast 145th Street off-ramp (exit 175).
  • Northbound I-5 north from Northeast 128th to Northeast 145th.
