Right lane closures on NB I-5 from NE 143rd St to NE 153rd St; and NE 145th on-ramp to NB I-5

As early as Sunday, Aug. 1st, Sound Transit will be closing the right lanes on northbound Interstate 5 from Northeast 143rd Street to Northeast 153rd Street and the Northeast 145th on-ramp to northbound I-5. This closure is a necessary step for construction of the Lynnwood Link light rail.

What

Crews will be working at night to minimize traffic impacts. Neighbors should expect construction noises from construction.

When

  • Sunday night, Aug., 1st to Monday morning, Aug. 2nd.
  • Tuesday night, Aug. 3rd to Wednesday morning.
  • Wednesday and Thursday night to Friday morning, from Aug. 3rd to Aug. 5th.
  • Work hours are from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
