Saturdays closure of Mountlake Terrace bus loop

As early as Friday, October 30, Sound Transit’s contractor will close the bus loop at the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center (MLT TC) in order to prepare for guideway construction of the Lynnwood Link Light Rail extension. They will work through the night into Saturday. The closure will be in effect for the next six Saturdays. This work is weather dependent and may need to be rescheduled.
What
Weekend bus loop closure. Crews will begin the work on Friday nights (after the last bus) and work through Saturday evenings.
When
Saturday, October 31, through Saturday, December 12, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Saturdays only)

- Buses that usually serve bays 1 and 2 will be rerouted and stop at bays 3 and 4 during this closure (see map).
- Please expect large construction equipment setup in the bus loop area to perform the required activities.
- Plan ahead, leave early and allow extra time to reach your destination.
