Thank you for your feedback!
Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on the Operations and Maintenance Facility South Draft Environmental Impact Statement! We received more 250 comments on our Draft EIS findings through our online open house, by email, phone and at our virtual public hearings during our comment period.
What’s next for OMF South?
We’ll compile and evaluate all the comments we received and provide a summary to the Sound Transit Board and the public in summer 2021. We’ll also make comments available to the public at that time.
The Board will then identify a “preferred alternative,” which we’ll evaluate along with the other alternatives in the Final EIS. (A preferred alternative is a statement of where the agency is leaning based on information available at the time; it is not a final decision on the site.)
The Final EIS, which will include responses to substantive comments on the Draft EIS, is scheduled to be issued in 2022. After we publish Final EIS, the Board will select the project to be built.
Property owner outreach
We’re offering briefings to property owners who may be affected by the OMF South site alternatives. If you have questions about your property or would like to meet with the project team, schedule a meeting at a time that’s convenient for you or reach out to us by email.
The recession and realignment
