Two right lane closures along I-5 Northbound and Southbound

As early as Monday, October 12, Sound Transit's contractor will continue working along the Interstate from the 228th Street SW underpass to the 236th Street SW interchange. There will be two right lane closures while this work is being performed on both the north, and southbound shoulders as well as in the center median of I-5 at the Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station. This is to prepare for the Lynnwood Link Light Rail extension and will be in effect for three weeks. The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete the work.

When

Monday, October 12 – Monday, October 26, 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Monday – Thursday, Southbound.
Monday, October 19 – Monday, November 9, 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Monday – Thursday, Northbound.

Where

I-5 north and southbound lanes, between 228th St SW and 236th Place SW (see map). This work is close to the Mountlake Terrace freeway station.
