The King Street Station Weller Street Bridge and crosswalk will be closed on Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In effect: Oct. 21-25

Routes: N Line & S Line
This message is for passengers and pedestrians who use the Weller Street Bridge at King Street Station between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. (outside of Sounder train hours of operation), to cross the tracks between 4th Ave S and the Amtrak Station or Lumen Field area in Seattle.

During the following times, Sound Transit will be replacing an expansion joint underneath the sidewalk and curb ramp at the east end of Weller Street Bridge.

• Beginning 9 p.m. Oct. 21 until 5 a.m. Oct. 22
• Beginning 9 p.m. Oct. 22 until 5 a.m. Oct. 23
• Beginning 9 p.m. Oct. 23 until 5 a.m. Oct. 24
• Beginning 9 p.m. Oct. 24 until 5 a.m. Oct. 25

During these hours, the following pedestrian pathways will be closed:

• Weller Street Bridge, including the entrance and elevator at the west end of Weller Street Bridge.
• Curb ramp on the west side of 4th Ave S at Weller St.
• Crosswalk across 4th Ave S at Weller St. Pedestrians will be able to cross 4th Ave S at S Jackson St or Seattle Blvd S.
• Sidewalk on the west side of 4th Ave S between S at S Jackson St or Seattle Blvd S.

The timing of this work is not expected to impact Sounder passengers, because it will occur outside of Sounder train hours of operation at King Street Station, and each of the pedestrian pathways listed above will be restored for use outside of the work hours.

Amtrak passengers arriving after 9 p.m. can use the elevator inside the station to access S. Jackson St. Amtrak passengers traveling to the station after 9 p.m. who need a step-free path from S. Jackson St. can proceed south on 2nd Ave S and then east on S. King St. to reach the main entrance to King Street Station.
