Seahawks vs. Cardinals

Want to spread out a bit on your Sounder S Line ride to the game? Head for the northernmost train cars—they're usually a lot less crowded! For even more breathing room, try catching the second S line train in and out of Seattle; it’s generally a bit roomier than the first one. Enjoy the extra space!
This survey is your chance to tell Sound Transit how we're doing. What can we do better? Your voice matters, and we're all ears.

Take our 15-minute passenger experience survey, and you could win one of fifteen $100 gift cards and four $250 gift cards in our raffle.

Your feedback will help enhance your transit experience. This survey pinpoints areas for improvement — accessibility, availability, cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and passenger support. Don’t miss out! The survey is open from Nov. 14 to Dec. 20.

On Monday, Feb. 19, Sound Transit's contractor will close approximately 190 parking stalls at Sumner Station, to make room for garage construction. We expect the closure to last about two years. At least 110 stalls will always be available, including the 68 stalls in the lot north of Maple Street.

The work will be done in phases. During Phase 1, which may last several months, approximately 40 stalls will remain open in the station’s southwest triangle lot. This includes ADA stalls, motorcycle stalls and pick-up and drop-off stalls will be in this area. (There are also pick-up and drop-off spaces on Traffic Avenue.) During Phase 1, Narrow Street will be closed to through traffic at Maple Ave, and Academy Street will be closed to through traffic at Cherry Street.

We recommend passengers make alternate plans for getting to a Sounder station as detailed in earlier alerts, including driving to  Puyallup Station, Bonney Lake Park-and-Ride Lot, walking or bicycling, or applying for a carpool permit. One new option for east Sumner residents to get to the station is the City's Commuter Connector residential loop shuttle that travels between East Sumner and the station.
