Early this year, Sound Transit initiated planning for the remaining ST3 infill stations at Graham Street in Seattle and Boeing Access Road in Tukwila. These projects will provide important connections in the Rainier Valley and north Tukwila, respectively.

The Graham Street infill project would add a new station on Martin Luther King Jr Way that would bridge the 1.6-mile gap between the Columbia City and Othello stations. The Boeing Access Road infill station would add a new station near Boeing Access Rd, East Marginal Way, and Interstate 5 (I-5) that would bridge the 5.5-mile gap between the Rainier Beach and Tukwila International Boulevard stations.
