Sound Transit to host public meeting to provide update on Judkins Park station construction
Sound Transit will hold an open house tomorrow about the future Judkins Park Station, one of the 10 stops on the 14-mile East Link extension. East Link will open in 2023.
- Wednesday, May 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the Northwest African American Museum, 2300 S. Massachusetts St., Seattle
The Judkins Park Station will be located in the center of I-90, and riders will be able to enter the station from Rainier Avenue South and 23rd Avenue South. When East Link opens, riders will be able to travel from the Judkins Park Station to downtown Bellevue in 15 minutes; to the Westlake Station in nine minutes; and to the University of Washington in 18 minutes.
Members of the public can learn about the station, the construction timeline and activities, and about how to stay informed during construction. Sound Transit project staff and representatives from Sound Transit’s contractor, Kiewitt-Hoffman, will be available to answer questions.
