CANCELED: Scheduled night closures on I-405 in Bellevue Dec. 18-19

Overnight drivers through downtown Bellevue should prepare for delays next week on Dec. 18-19 in preparation for construction of the elevated light rail structure across I-405. Sound Transit's contractor will restripe I-405 to establish temporary work zones along the highway. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.

Monday, Dec. 18

Beginning at 11:59 p.m. crews will fully close southbound I-405 between State Route 520 and Northeast 4th Street in Bellevue for restriping work. All lanes will reopen Tuesday morning by 4 a.m.

During the closures drivers should follow the signed detour.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

Beginning at 11:59 p.m. crews will fully close northbound I-405 between Main Street and Northeast 8th Street in Bellevue for restriping work. The roadway will reopen the Wednesday morning by 4 a.m.
