Next week, our contractor will be saw cutting prior to performing underground utility work and ground stabilization at the intersection of 110th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 4th Street. This work will be necessary to tunnel underneath this busy intersection.
Saw cutting operations
- Potentially two days of work. (within 3/26- 3/30)
- Approved work hours are 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Exiting City Center, Skyline, and City Hall from southbound 110th Avenue Northeast onto eastbound Northeast 4th Street will not be allowed.
- Uniform police officers will be available to control traffic in intersection.
- Noise from saw cutting will be necessary while work is occurring.
- Eastbound Northeast 4th Street traffic looking to turn left on the northbound 110th Avenue Northeast will be allowed before 10 a.m.

Upcoming intersection closure at 110th Ave NE and NE 4th Street in downtown Bellevue
Beginning Saturday, March 31st, our contractor will be excavating and backfilling at the intersection of 110th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 4th Street for ground stabilization under the roadway. A full closure of the intersection of 110th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 4th Street will be necessary. This work will be necessary to tunnel underneath this busy intersection.
Weekend intersection closure
- Work is scheduled begin the weekend of March 31 - April 1.
- Work is anticipated to take approximately two – three weekends.
- Approved work hours are Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Noise from vacuum excavation trucks will be limited from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Northbound 110th Avenue Northeast traffic flows will be detoured to Northeast 3rd Place.
- Local access to City Center, Skyline, and City Hall will be from westbound Northeast 4th Street only.
- Exiting traffic from City Center, Skyline, and City Hall southbound 110th Avenue Northeast will be detoured onto westbound Northeast 4th Street only.
- Uniform police officers will be available guide traffic flows at the intersection.
- Signed detours will be in place for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists.
