Night closures on I-405 in Bellevue on Nov 19th – 20th
Overnight drivers should be aware of upcoming closures on Interstate 405 in downtown Bellevue. Beginning Monday, November 19th, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue concrete pours of horizontal structures over the highway in preparation for elevated light rail. Work is scheduled to occur on the nights of Nov 19th-20th. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.
What to expect?
Monday, November 19th
The northbound I-405 HOV lane (8 p.m. – 5 a.m.) from Northeast 10th Street to Main Street will be closed.
The northbound I-405 off-ramp and the southbound on-ramp to and from Northeast 6th Street (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) will be closed while work is occurring.
Crews will close the southbound I-405 HOV lane and one left lane (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) from Northeast 10th Street to Main Street.
The eastern Northeast 8th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) will also be closed.
Tuesday, November 20th
Crews will close the northbound I-405 off-ramp and the southbound on-ramp to and from Northeast 6th Street (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.).
The northbound I-405 HOV lane and one left lane (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) from Northeast 10th Street to Main Street will also be closed.
During the closures, drivers should follow the signed detour.
