Night ramp closure on I-405 in Bellevue on April 9 - 12

Overnight drivers should be aware of an upcoming ramp closure on Interstate 405 in downtown Bellevue. Beginning on Monday, April 9, Sound Transit’s contractor will set span beams across the highway for the future elevated light rail structure. Work is scheduled to occur on April 9-12.

What to expect:
  • Crews will close the northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 8th Street (Exit 13B) from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to set horizontal supports.
  • The northbound off-ramp to Northeast 4th Street (Exit 13A) with be maintained while work is occurring.
  • During the closures, drivers should follow the signed detour.
