Rainier Avenue closures cancelled for weekends of 10/19 and 10/26

This past weekend, crews completed demolition and removal of one of the I-90 westbound bridges, crossing Rainier Avenue S. The planned closures for the weekends of October 19-22 and 26-29 have been cancelled. Thank you for your patience as we completed this work!

Upcoming Rainier Avenue lane and sidewalk closures
Now that bridge demolition has been completed, crews will begin utility work and lane restriping. This work may require intermittent lane and sidewalk closures on Rainier Ave. S at I-90. During this time, one sidewalk on Rainier Ave. S will remain open at all times between S. Charles St. and S. Massachusetts St.. The maps below describe general detour routes and detour signage will be in place to safely direct pedestrians to their destinations
