Reminder: Overnight Island Crest Way Ramp Closures, September 29 – October 1

Beginning as early as Friday September 29 through Sunday October 1, both east- and westbound Island Crest Way HOV on- and off-ramps will be closed during off-peak, nighttime hours. Crews will use this time to relocate and reconnect existing traffic information system cabinets.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Island Crest Way Eastbound HOV off-ramp is planned to be closed overnight on Saturday September 30, from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. Drivers will be able to use the 77th Avenue and West Mercer Way Eastbound off-ramps.
• Island Crest Way Westbound HOV on-ramp is planned to be closed nightly beginning Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Drivers will be able to use the76th Avenue and West Mercer Way Westbound on-ramps.
• Crews will relocate existing traffic information system cabinets and reconnect to electrical service.
• Crews will work in the existing right of way with traffic control in place. Please follow signed detours and flaggers to safely access your destination.
