Sound Transit selects improvements for Puyallup Station
Thank you for your input
Thank you for your participation and feedback throughout the environmental phase! Almost 70 people attended the open house on Tuesday, February 23 and over 670 people visited the online open house. Your input helped the Sound Transit Board of Directors select station access improvements for the Puyallup Sounder station.
On Thursday, April 28, the Sound Transit Board of Directors approved a new parking garage, more surface parking, a pedestrian bridge, sidewalk and pedestrian lighting, and improved pedestrian and bicycle connections to improve transit rider access to the station.
Now that the package of improvements is finalized, what’s next?
Next steps for the project includes the Board considering actions to authorize property purchase and the start of final design. Stay tuned for future opportunities to provide design input.
For more information about the selected improvements, feel free to read the press release or visit the project website at soundtransit.org/puyallupimprovements.
