We can all do our part to ensure a comfortable ride for everyone.
Move away from the doors.
Spread out when you board the train to make space for others.
Offer your seat to those who need it.
Priority seating is for riders with disabilities and senior citizens.
Keep seats clear for others to sit.
Please place bags and luggage on your lap, under your seat, or on its side in luggage areas.
Move aside and let other riders exit the train.
You may need to step off the train so other riders can exit.
Remove your backpack on crowded trains.
Holding your bag makes room for others and reduces the chance you’ll hit someone by accident.
Spread out along the platform.
The middle cars are often less crowded.
Let riders exit the train before boarding.
Stand to the side of the doors and allow people off the train before getting on.
Do not hold the doors.
Trains arrive frequently. Holding doors creates delays for everyone.
Use headphones.
Loud phone calls, music, and audio are disruptive to fellow passengers.
Speak in a low voice.
Keep your cell phone on vibrate and speak quietly with other riders.
Carry food and drinks in closed containers.
Please don’t eat while riding.
