SeaTac/Airport Station

ST Express routes 574, 577, 578, and 586 are moving to the new Federal Way Downtown Station bus loop beginning March 30. Additional schedule adjustments to improve reliability may also affect your ride.
Construction work is taking place at the new Pinehurst Station. Trains will share one track through the Shoreline South/148th Station requiring passengers to use the alternate side of the platform during construction hours. Work will take place evenings, Monday through Friday, from 7 p.m. until the end of light rail service, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Trains will arrive about every 12 minutes during construction.

Phase 1: March 24 through April 13 - Trains will be using the Lynnwood platform.

Phase 2: April 28 through May 30 - Trains will be using the Angle Lake platform.

No work will be done May 17 - 18, and during the Memorial Day weekend of May 24-26
Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.

During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.

The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.

Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.

Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
