Welcome back to our monthly events preview, where we spotlight exciting happenings within a one-mile radius of Sound Transit stations!

March is here, bringing a fresh lineup of events to the Puget Sound region. Whether you’re celebrating St. Patrick's Day, embracing the start of spring, or exploring new arts and culture activities, there’s something for everyone this month!

Fairs/festivals

  • Mar. 1: Sneaker Con Seattle at Seattle Convention Center  
    Join sneaker enthusiasts, collectors, and vendors to buy, sell, and showcase rare and limited-edition sneakers. This event offers a unique experience for all things footwear culture.
  • Mar. 6-9: Emerald City Comic Con at Seattle Convention Center  
    Comic Con is back! Come celebrate pop culture with comic book creators, celebrity guests, cosplay, panels, and a wide range of merchandise for fans of all ages.
  • Mar. 6-9: Seattle RV Show at Lumen Field Event Center  
    Check out the latest recreational vehicles! This show offers visitors the chance to explore a variety of RVs, attend informative seminars, and discover products for outdoor adventures.
  • Mar. 8: Kent Kids’ Art Day at Kent Commons 
    Come create! Young artists from preschool to fourth grade can enjoy a full day of hands-on art projects led by professional artists.
  • Mar. 15-16: The Grand Tasting at Lumen Field Event Center  
    Experience over 200 top wineries, 75 restaurants, and exciting attractions like Bubbles & Bingo, and try tastings, pairings, and expert demonstrations.
  • Mar. 22-23: Indoor Plants Festival at Lynnwood Event Center  
    An event for plant enthusiasts featuring a wide variety of indoor plants, expert gardening tips, and unique plant vendors for all green thumbs.

  • Mar. 3: Soccer Mommy at The Showbox 
    Looking for a blend of bedroom pop with alternative rock influences? Enjoy the introspective lyrics and dreamy melodies of American indie rock artist Soccer Mommy.
  • Mar. 14-15: Svdden Death presents VOYDOME at Tacoma Dome 
    An immersive, high-energy electronic music experience blending intense dubstep and futuristic visuals, creating a larger-than-life, otherworldly atmosphere for fans.
  • Mar. 15: The Piano Guys at The Paramount Theatre 
    The Piano Guys are a musical ensemble known for their captivating instrumental arrangements of popular songs, blending classical piano and cello with modern pop and cinematic influences.
  • Mar. 22: Snow Patrol at The Paramount Theatre 
    Creators of hit song, “Chasing Cars,” Snow Patrol is a Scottish rock band known for their emotive, anthemic sound, blending alternative rock with sweeping melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
  • Mar. 26: Tyga at The Moore Theatre Mar. 26 
    Tyga is an American rapper and songwriter known for his catchy hip-hop hits, smooth flow, and collaborations with major artists across the rap and pop music scenes. 

Sports events

  • Mar. 1, Mar. 8, Mar. 14: Everett Silvertips games at Angel of the Winds Arena  
    Who doesn’t love some hockey? Especially one of the WHL top contenders, Everett Silvertips, known for their strong defense and passionate fanbase.  
  • Mar. 5-8: WIAA/Gesa Credit Union Basketball State Championship Mar. 5-8 at Tacoma Dome 
    Come watch the annual high school basketball tournament featuring the top teams competing for the state title in both boys' and girls' basketball.
  • Mar. 8 and Mar. 22: Seattle Sounders FC games at Lumen Field  
    Futbol is life. The Sounders are back and ready to win some games at Lumen Field this year!  
  • Mar. 15: Seattle Reign FC at Lumen Field 
    GOALLLLL! Go see Seattle’s professional women’s soccer team crush it on the pitch.  
  • Mar. 27-31: Seattle Mariners home opener games at T-Mobile Park  
    MLB Baseball is back! Come watch the Seattle Mariners home opener weekend starting on March 27.

  • Mar. 1-16: Kooza Cirque du Soleil at Marymoor Park
