Thank you for participating in our online open house last summer

Thank you to those who visited our summer 2020 online open house and shared your feedback through the online survey and comment form between July 17 and Aug. 23, 2020. Over 2,905 people visited our English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese sites.

We’ve prepared a detailed summary(24 MB) of our outreach and an executive summary (380 KB) focusing on key takeaways of what we heard from you. Need a refresher on what was included in the online open house? Take a look at a PDF copy (4 MB) of the online open house content. There are also copies of the online open house in Spanish (5 MB) and Simplified Chinese (4 MB).

What we heard from you:
We received 167 responses to our online survey, 51 comments through the online comment form and several emails to the project inbox, brt@soundtransit.org. Your feedback is vital in helping us understand the needs and interests of people who work, live and play along the project corridor.

Here are a few corridor-wide key takeaways we heard:

  • Support for continued online engagement opportunities through virtual public meetings and email updates.
  • Support for maintaining connections to Downtown Seattle, SeaTac airport and places of work along the corridor, with easy transfers between transit services.
  • Need for safe walking and biking connections to future BRT stations.

Take a closer look at what we heard in each city along the corridor in the executive summary.
