About this project
Sound Transit is working to bring transit-oriented development to the Marymoor Village Station area. Sound Transit anticipates having a ±3.5-acre site adjacent to the future Marymoor Village Station once Downtown Redmond Link Extension is complete. The site, located adjacent to Marymoor Park and within the emerging Southeast Redmond neighborhood, would support a vibrant community seamlessly connected to transit.
Development updates
These properties were declared surplus by the Sound Transit Board in May 2024. The agency is beginning jurisdictional collaboration, due diligence, site analysis, and market feasibility to determine a preliminary development strategy.
Sound Transit involves communities and partners to envision development near stations that fosters vibrant neighborhoods with seamless connections to regional transit. There will be opportunities during the planning process for community members to share ideas and guide potential uses for the land near the Marymoor Village Station. Community input will inform our process to define development strategies and goals.
