About this project
Sound Transit is working to bring transit-oriented development to the Marymoor Village Station area. Sound Transit anticipates having a ±3.5-acre site adjacent to the future Marymoor Village Station once Downtown Redmond Link Extension is complete. The project, located adjacent to Marymoor Park and within the emerging Southeast Redmond neighborhood, would support a vibrant community seamlessly connected to transit and Marymoor Park.
Development updates
Sound Transit expects to complete the process for surplus declaration in 2024. The Agency will then begin due diligence, site analysis, and market feasibility to determine a preliminary development strategy.
Sound Transit involves communities to envision development near the stations that foster vibrant neighborhoods with seamless connections to regional transit. There will be several opportunities for community members to share ideas and guide potential uses for the land near the Marymoor Village Station. Your input will inform our process to define development strategies and select development partners. Sign up for transit-oriented development email updates to learn more about future opportunities to get involved.
