Overview

Federal Way Downtown Station will house integrated bus and rail service to serve the surrounding area. The elevated station is in the city center. It features a 400-space garage, near the existing parking garage, accommodating more vehicles. A new street grid enhances access to the station. It also supplies an opportunity for future development.

This station, by design, will support easy transfers between Link, King County Metro buses. In addition Sound Transit will be adding a new bus loop to avoid confusing riders and allow for buses to effectively turn around at the station.
