Beginning on March 24 through May 30 construction activity will occur near Shoreline South station.
In effect: March 24 - April 14
Routes: 1 Line
The work will occur at the new Pinehurst Station and will require trains to share one track through Shoreline South/148th Station for the duration of construction. This will occur every evening from 5:30 p.m. until the end of light rail service Monday through Friday, as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday. During this time, trains will be arriving about every 12 minutes.
Phase 1: March 24 through April 13 – During this time, the trains will be using the Angle Lake platform.
Phase 2: April 28 through May 30 - During this time, the trains will be using the Lynnwood City Center platform - There will be no work being done during the Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26

SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
In effect: Jan. 8, 3:00 a.m.
Routes: 1 Line
Beginning January 8, 2025, through 2026, construction will take place at SeaTac Airport Station to add a new elevator to the pedestrian bridge. The new elevator will provide an additional option for passengers to travel from the pedestrian bridge to the pickup/drop off parking lot adjacent to the station. During construction, passengers can expect pedestrian walkways to occasionally be blocked or narrowed, and access to the current elevator periodically interrupted.
During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.

The elevators at Symphony Station serving the north mezzanine to the Benaroya Hall lobby, near Exit A2, service hours for public use beginning Monday, November 18, 2024 are:
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, except holidays.
The elevators are in service at these specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service.
On certain weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to Symphony Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See the Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
