On Dec. 7-8, we will reduce 1 Line service as crews repair overhead power systems near the University of Washington Station.
In effect: Nov. 26 - Dec. 7

- Lynnwood–U District: about every 22 minutes
- U District–Capitol Hill: about every 22 minutes
- Capitol Hill–Angle Lake: about every 15 minutes
Supplemental shuttle buses will run every 10-15 minutes between U District, University of Washington, and Capitol Hill stations to help with crowding.
Trains will share one track at Roosevelt, U District, and University of Washington stations. Check train signage to ensure boarding the correct train.

Northgate Station Garage Partial Parking Closure

Sounder train
Sumner parking closure starts Feb. 19 to make room for garage construction. 190 stalls to be closed.

Routes: S Line
The work will be done in phases. During Phase 1, which may last several months, approximately 40 stalls will remain open in the station’s southwest triangle lot. This includes ADA stalls, motorcycle stalls and pick-up and drop-off stalls will be in this area. (There are also pick-up and drop-off spaces on Traffic Avenue.) During Phase 1, Narrow Street will be closed to through traffic at Maple Ave, and Academy Street will be closed to through traffic at Cherry Street.
We recommend passengers make alternate plans for getting to a Sounder station as detailed in earlier alerts, including driving to Puyallup Station, Bonney Lake Park-and-Ride Lot, walking or bicycling, or applying for a carpool permit. One new option for east Sumner residents to get to the station is the City's Commuter Connector residential loop shuttle that travels between East Sumner and the station.

Elevator replacements will take place at International District/Chinatown Station Exit A, beginning Tuesday, October 29 until Friday, February 28.

This work is part of a multi-year project to modernize the elevators and escalators throughout the four downtown Seattle Link stations: International District/Chinatown, Pioneer Square, University Street, and Westlake stations. These upgrades aim to enhance the reliability of the stations’ facilities.

The King Street Station Weller Street Bridge and crosswalk will be closed on Monday, November 25 through Tuesday, November 26 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During the following times, Sound Transit will be replacing an expansion joint underneath the sidewalk and curb ramp at the east end of Weller Street Bridge.
• Beginning 9 p.m. Nov. 25 until 5 a.m. Nov. 26
• Beginning 9 p.m. Nov. 26 until 5 a.m. Nov. 27
During these hours, the following pedestrian pathways will be closed:
• Weller Street Bridge, including the entrance and elevator at the west end of Weller Street Bridge.
• Curb ramp on the west side of 4th Ave S at Weller St.
• Crosswalk across 4th Ave S at Weller St. Pedestrians will be able to cross 4th Ave S at S Jackson St or Seattle Blvd S.
• Sidewalk on the west side of 4th Ave S between S at S Jackson St or Seattle Blvd S.
The timing of this work is not expected to impact Sounder passengers, because it will occur outside of Sounder train hours of operation at King Street Station, and each of the pedestrian pathways listed above will be restored for use outside of the work hours.
Amtrak passengers arriving after 9 p.m. can use the elevator inside the station to access S. Jackson St. Amtrak passengers traveling to the station after 9 p.m. who need a step-free path from S. Jackson St. can proceed south on 2nd Ave S and then east on S. King St. to reach the main entrance to King Street Station.

Lynnwood City Center Station - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice. The elevator at Exit A serving the street (46th Ave W and North Parking Garage) and platform is out of service.

1. Exit the station through the Northeast Station Plaza.
2. Cross 46th Ave W and go through the Southwest Station Plaza.
3. Enter the station through Exit B and take the elevator up to the platform.
To exit the station:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform.
2. Take the elevator down to the street.
