Link Shuttle Buses are replacing the 1 Line between Capitol Hill and SODO stations for two additional weekends: Feb. 23 and Feb. 28 - Mar. 2

Feb. 23: Shuttle buses will replace 1 Line service between Capitol Hill and SODO stations, running every 10-15 minutes. Trains will operate between Lynnwood–Capitol Hill and SODO–Angle Lake every 15 minutes. Trains will share one track at Shoreline South/148th Station.
Feb. 28 - Mar. 2: Beginning 10 p.m. on Feb. 28 until end of service Mar. 2, shuttle buses will replace 1 Line service between Capitol Hill and SODO stations, running every 10-15 minutes. Trains will operate between Lynnwood–Capitol Hill and SODO–Angle Lake every 15 minutes.
Please pay attention to in-station announcements, signage, and train destination signs to make sure you board the correct train. Passengers who need assistance identifying the correct train or navigating the station can request help from Sound Transit personnel on the platform or by calling or texting Security at (206) 398-5268.
Passengers are encouraged to seek alternative service options and plan ahead for additional travel time.

From January 4th through February 27th construction activity is occurring near the Shoreline South Station nightly from 5:30 p.m. until the end of service causing delays in train arrival times.

Please pay attention to station announcements and signage at Shoreline South 148th Station to determine where to board trains.

From Tuesday, February 18 to Friday, February 28, Sound Transit will install gutters on the platform canopy at Bellevue Downtown Station near the four staircase entrances.

We will fence off the work area with cane-detectable delineation. This zone will shift from one stairwell to the next with the completion of each area of the canopy.

Elevator outage at Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station. The Northbound platform is inaccessible to passengers requiring elevator service. See below for alternate route information.

From the Northbound platform, passengers requiring elevator service must go to another station.
1.Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center.
2. Passengers can board the Link from the platform at Lynnwood City Center Station.
To exit the station:
From the Northbound platform, passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station.
1. Take the Sound Transit 512 or 513 northbound bus to Lynnwood Transit Center.
2. Exit the bus at Lynnwood Transit Center and go to Bus Bay C4.
3. Return to Mountlake Terrace Transit center via the Community Transit 130 bus toward Edmonds.
To ride the Northbound Sound Transit 512 and 513 Buses:
Passenger requiring elevator service CANNOT access the Northbound platform.
1. Enter the Mountlake Terrace Link Station.
2. Take the closest elevator up to the platform and ride the Link to Lynnwood City Center Station.
3. Exit at Lynnwood Station and go to the Transit Center to ride the 512 or 513 bus.
Northgate Garage - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice. The elevator at Exit A serving the street (NE 103rd St & 1st Ave NE) and parking levels is out of service.

SeaTac Airport Station elevator construction beginning January 2025

During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access are unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport station to Tukwila International Boulevard station in order to use the 1 Line.
The pedestrian walkway from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
Beginning on February 10, half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as well as some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.
Elevators at Symphony Station North Mezzanine to Benaroya Hall lobby service hours.
In effect: Nov. 19, 8:40 a.m.
Routes: 1 Line
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, except holidays.
The elevators are in service at these specified times. Please use alternate elevators when these elevators are not in service.
On certain weekends and evenings, the Benaroya Hall Boeing Gallery will offer access to Symphony Station from 2.5 hours prior to any public event through its conclusion. See the Seattle Symphony’s calendar of Benaroya Hall events for dates and times of public events.
Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice. The Lynnwood platform is inaccessible to passengers requiring elevator service. See below for alternate route information.
In effect: Feb. 18, 3:32 p.m.
Routes: 1 Line
1. Take the elevator up to the Angle Lake platform.
2. Take the 1 Line to SeaTac/Airport Station.
3. At SeaTac/Airport Station, board the 1 Line toward Lynnwood.
Passengers requiring elevator service CANNOT exit from the Lynnwood platform.
To exit the station from Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station:
1. From the Lynnwood platform, board the 1 Line.
2. Take the 1 Line to Rainier Beach Station.
3. At Rainier Beach Station, board the 1 Line toward Angle Lake.
4. Exit the 1 Line at Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station.
5. Riders can exit Tukwila Int'l Blvd Station using the Angle Lake platform elevator.
University of Washington Station - Elevator 3 unavailable until further notice. The elevator at the Montlake Blvd NE exit serving the street and pedestrian bridge is out of service.
In effect: Feb. 18, 1:36 p.m.
Routes: 1 Line
1. Cross Montlake Blvd NE using the crosswalk at NE Pacific Pl.
2. Turn right at Husky Stadium and continue toward the pedestrian bridge.
3. Enter University of Washington Station.
4. Take the in-service elevator down to the platform.
To exit the station:
1. Follow the pedestrian bridge back toward the station.
2. Take the elevator from the pedestrian bridge down to the street.
3. To cross Montlake Blvd NE, use the crosswalk at Montlake Blvd NE & NE Pacific Pl.
