Shoreline North/185th Station will have scheduled maintenance beginning Monday, Dec 9 through early January. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, detours and traffic control will be available for passenger access.

Direct pedestrian access between the passenger drop-off/pick-up are and the plaza near the corner of 8th Ave NE and NE 185th St will be temporarily closed. During these closures, pedestrians can access the station and sidewalk along 8th Ave NE by traveling north of the passenger drop-off/pick-up area.
Phase 2: Dec 12 -13 and 16 -17
Construction of forms for preparation of concrete pour. No additional impact to passengers during this phase.
Pathways between the station, bus bays, paratransit bay, and garage will remain open.

Extra service on N Line and S Line will be available on Sunday, Dec 22 due to special event

-S Line trains will depart Lakewood at 9:51 a.m. and 10:11 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 20 and 45 minutes after the game ends.
-N Line train will depart Everett at 10:45 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 45 minutes after the game ends.
Want to spread out a bit on your Sounder S Line ride to the game? Head for the northernmost train cars—they're usually a lot less crowded! For even more breathing room, try catching the second S line train in and out of Seattle; it’s generally a bit roomier than the first one. Enjoy the extra space!
New Variable Messaging Signs will be installed at Sounder S Line Stations beginning Wednesday, Dec 11 through Dec 23. This work will take place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on weekdays.

The work will be done in phases. During Phase 1, which may last several months, approximately 40 stalls will remain open in the station’s southwest triangle lot. This includes ADA stalls, motorcycle stalls and pick-up and drop-off stalls will be in this area. (There are also pick-up and drop-off spaces on Traffic Avenue.) During Phase 1, Narrow Street will be closed to through traffic at Maple Ave, and Academy Street will be closed to through traffic at Cherry Street.
We recommend passengers make alternate plans for getting to a Sounder station as detailed in earlier alerts, including driving to Puyallup Station, Bonney Lake Park-and-Ride Lot, walking or bicycling, or applying for a carpool permit. One new option for east Sumner residents to get to the station is the City's Commuter Connector residential loop shuttle that travels between East Sumner and the station.

These upgrades aim to enhance the reliability of the stations’ facilities.
